Mock up Magazine
We all have to produce a magazine cover for our course work, I have produced a simple prototype to give an idea into how the main product will look. This was done on photoshop in about half an hour so looks abysmal :/ (not to worry, the main product will look a lot better)

How we kept in touch
It would prove difficult to keep everyone in the project in touch as we don't all live in one area or commonly associate with each other so we made a Facebook page :)

Competition
Our trailer is being entered into a competition for best trailer we have had to describe our post in 30 words,
"Boys Village: Where the girls come to play.
A controversial new soap that follows the lives of seven young adults through parties, pills and puberty."

Posters
We all have to design a different poster for our project. We have decided that we should do one for each storyline, this idea is similar to the latest series of Doctor Who where a special poster and title sequence was made for each episode themed on the evens in the episode.

TV advert 1
Our trailer is nearing the end of production, so now it is time to advertise, this is the publicity photo that E4 (who will host our series) will be displaying on television.
Existing Products (Magazines)
We have to design a TV Listings magazine cover, we are doing this using Photoshop. I have looked at existing magazines for inspiration and awareness of their codes and conventions.
The generic TV listings magazine consists of bold titles, colours and pictures. The name of the magazine title is often bright and bold yet not a huge part of the display.A feature of such magazine are bold titles and colour-schemes. Yellows, reds and blues are colours which often feature together.
Such magazines are sold cheap and advertise this as a prominent feature to try and outsell their multiple competitors.

Stories and images of interest are often outlined with a white glow to divert the eye of the reader.
